General Terms and Conditions
for Graf’s Cat and Small Animal Boarding
🐾 Health & Vaccinations
The pet owner confirms that the animal entrusted to the facility is healthy and legally theirs.
Cats must have valid vaccinations against feline distemper (panleukopenia), cat flu (rhinotracheitis), and rabies(rabies is only required for outdoor cats).
Cats must also be protected against internal parasites (e.g. roundworms and tapeworms) and external parasites (e.g. fleas). Please consult your veterinarian for further information.
A copy of the valid vaccination record must be provided.
Rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis, RHD (rabbit hemorrhagic disease) / snuffles, and RHD2.
The vaccination booklet must be submitted during the stay.
Rodents are housed exclusively in spacious, on-site boarding enclosures.
Outdoor access on grass is not possible for safety reasons (due to the risk of predators such as martens and foxes).
🚫 Animals That Cannot Be Accepted
We kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot accept:
Injured animals
Animals with visible parasite infestations
Sexually mature, unneutered cats
🩺 Veterinary Treatment
If veterinary treatment is deemed necessary during your pet’s stay, all associated costs (vet bill and handling fee) are to be covered by the owner.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, the house veterinarian of the boarding facility will provide treatment.
In case of serious illness, the animal will be transferred to a veterinary clinic at the owner’s expense.
⚠️ Liability
If the animal dies, escapes, is injured, or mistakenly switched with another animal during the stay, no liability claims of any kind can be made against the facility operator.
Any damage caused by the animal during its stay must be covered by the owner.
🧳 Items Brought Along
Please label transport boxes and food bags with your name to avoid confusion and ensure your pet’s supplies are correctly assigned.
We cannot accept liability for any items brought by the owner (scratching posts, baskets, blankets, etc.).
Providing your own food and litter does not justify a price reduction.
💶 Payment & Pricing
The full boarding fee is to be paid in cash and in exact change on the day of arrival.
Current prices are listed under the section “Our Price List.”
📆 Reservations & Abandonment
New customers are warmly invited to board their pets during Pentecost and summer holidays, provided there is space available.
We kindly ask you to book early to ensure optimal care and individual attention for your animals.
If an animal is not collected within two weeks of the agreed pick-up date without further arrangement, the facility reserves the right to hand the pet over to an animal welfare organization or suitable private individual.
All costs incurred until then must be paid by the owner.
🚫 Sundays & Public Holidays
Dear customers, please note:
All Sundays and public holidays (e.g. Easter Sunday/Monday, Pentecost Sunday/Monday, Christmas 24/25/26 December, New Year’s Day, etc.) are reserved for my family.
The boarding facility is closed to customer traffic on these days.
No drop-offs, pick-ups, or visits can be arranged.
Please factor in these days when planning your pet’s stay and calculating the total boarding costs.
Your animals will of course continue to receive full care and attention on all days.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
